Moving off, junctions, lane choices, parking and motorway situations. Focused road challenges are part of the course, with instructions and optional voice guidance.

Look for UK road situations, clear controls, useful feedback and a format you will return to. Try a lesson, a mock test and free drive on your own device. SlayDrive also lets you create routes from places you search for. Read our learner simulator guide to decide what fits your practice.
You can try the included courses, mock tests, free drive and My routes at no cost until 1 December 2026. No card required and no automatic subscription. Use that time to see whether it helps your between-lesson practice; it does not replace time with a driving instructor.
There are touch controls for mobile, keyboard controls on desktop and support for compatible gamepads. Availability depends on your browser and device. Open Controls for help, and Settings for camera, voice and graphics options.
SlayDrive offers additional practice between lessons, especially when extra classes or private practice are difficult to arrange. It helps you explore road decisions, but cannot replace practical driving lessons, supervised road experience or an official test.
No motor insurance is needed to use an on-screen simulator because you are not driving a real vehicle. SlayDrive does not provide insurance or change the requirements for driving on public roads. Check your cover before any real-road practice.

Yes. Open My routes, search for a place and select a start and finish on the map. Generate the route, save it in this browser and drive it in the simulator. Availability depends on map and routing coverage. Road details may be missing or estimated, and no route is an official DVSA test route.
