1. Practice and safety
SlayDrive is a supplementary learning tool. It does not replace a qualified driving instructor, supervised driving experience, the Highway Code or an official theory or practical test. SlayDrive is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA.
Simulator scores, fault assessments and practice routes do not guarantee a test pass or establish that someone is ready to drive on public roads. Use current official guidance and your instructor’s advice. Never operate the simulator while driving a real vehicle or where doing so would distract from a safety-critical activity.
2. Your account
Sign-in is required to enter the production simulator. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and do not access someone else’s account without permission. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Use the service only where you can lawfully do so. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before creating an account or making a purchase. This does not change the legal requirements for learning to drive.
Account information, learning progress and feedback are used to operate the service. Account services may use essential browser storage. The website privacy information describes the marketing site; contact us for questions about simulator account information or deletion.
3. Free access and payments
The current offer provides free access until 1 December 2026 at 00:00 UK time. No card is required to use this offer, and free access does not automatically create a paid subscription. If we extend the offer, we will update the published end date.
After the offer ends, access may return to the available free-lesson and paid-access options. Any new paid purchase requires a separate checkout showing the price, billing period and applicable conditions before you confirm it.
The free offer does not automatically cancel, pause or refund an existing subscription. Existing subscribers should use Manage subscription in the app to review their billing or cancellation options. Contact us if that option is unavailable. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights continue to apply.
4. Maps and saved content
Maps and generated routes are practice environments. Road widths, signs, markings, restrictions and other details may be estimated, missing or out of date. They are not navigation instructions or official DVSA test routes. Actual roads, current restrictions and road signs take priority.
Search and route generation rely on third-party services and may be unavailable or limited. Map data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the applicable Open Database Licence. Other credited content remains subject to its own terms.
My routes saves routes in the browser on the device used. Clearing site data, using a different browser or losing that device may remove access to those routes. Local routes and mock results are distinct from account-based course progress. Do not submit passwords, payment details or sensitive information through feedback or route names.
5. Permitted use
You may use SlayDrive for lawful learning and personal practice. Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, attempt to access another person’s information, distribute malicious code, or use automated requests in a way that overloads SlayDrive or its map providers.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. Restrictions do not remove any rights you have under consumer law.
6. Content and rights
SlayDrive’s branding and original software, interface and learning content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of that material. Third-party software, assets and map data retain their respective licences and attributions.
You retain rights you have in content you submit or create, subject to any underlying third-party data rights. We may process submitted content as needed to provide the features you choose and respond to feedback. Do not submit material you do not have permission to use.
7. Availability and changes
Features and performance depend on your device, browser, network and provider availability. We aim to keep the service working, but uninterrupted availability and compatibility with every controller or device cannot be promised.
We may make reasonable changes to improve the service, address faults or meet legal requirements. Material changes affecting paid access will be handled in accordance with applicable law and communicated where required. Revised terms will carry an updated date; changes will not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
8. Consumer rights and contact
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Any paid digital content or service remains subject to applicable consumer protections.
For access, billing, feedback, rights or complaints, email [email protected]. Include a description of the issue and an account email if relevant, but never send your password or full payment-card details. We will review your request and explain the available next steps.
